ALPLA to Build Injection Molding Plant in Kansas City
October 28, 2021

Global plastics manufacturer and packaging solutions company ALPLA Inc. North America said it is expanding its Missouri operations with plans to build a new 246,000 sq ft injection molding facility in Kansas City. ALPLA said the new plant is in line its growth strategy and expansion plans to grow its injection molding capabilities.

The Kansas City site will be the company's fourth facility in Missouri and the first dedicated to injection molding, and produce closures including packaging systems, bottles, caps and injection-molded parts for a wide range of industries.

ALPLA added that it is creating 75 new jobs in the region and cited Kansas City's central location and community relationships as key drivers for the decision.

Led by Cushman & Wakefield, the project is slated to begin in late 2021 with completion expected in Q4 2022.
