Soteria Acquires Polyethylene Film Manufacturer Redi-Bag
June 10, 2021

Soteria Flexibles has strengthened its manufacturing capabilities and product offering by acquiring Redi-Bag, a Polyethylene Film, and plastic packaging manufacturer. The acquisition also allows Soteria to expand its geographical footprint.

Based in Washington, Redi-Bag serves customers in the seafood and produce packing markets and is Soteria's second acquisition. The acquired business will continue to operate the acquired business under the Redi-Bag name.

Based in Illinois, Soteria Flexibles was established in September 2019 by Ardian, a global private equity firm, in conjunction with its acquisition of Colonial Bag Corporation, to invest in film manufacturers and flexible packaging converters specializing in shorter-run, custom product offerings.

Soteria primarily serves the healthcare, industrial, and foodservice end-user markets with specialized containment products, healthcare isolation liners, bag-on-a-roll, coreless rolls, and biodegradable films, where specifications are tailored to fit customer applications.
